Biography
  PATÁX is a Spanish musical group led by Jorge Pérez that fuses flamenco, jazz and Afro-Cuban music to create innovative reinterpretations. The project was born in Madrid around 2010 and has stood out for its versions of classics by artists such as Michael Jackson, The Beatles and Stevie Wonder, combining traditional flamenco elements with Latin rhythms and jazz harmonies. Projects and collaborations
 In 2008 he received a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston where he spent several years studying with Ernesto Díaz, Egui Castrillo, Mark Walker, Jamey Haddad, Dave Liebman, Joe Lovano, Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, Eddie Gómez, George Garzone and Ben Street. In 2011 he obtained his degree in Performance and was chosen by Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano and John Patitucci to be part of the honorary program ‘Berklee Global Jazz Institute.

 He has taught percussion classes for the Berklee Rhythm Club and Masterclasses at the Panama Jazz Festival and the International Peruvian Cajon Festival 2014 and 2015, at Bell Percussion (London), at the Drummers Collective in New York, at the Loca Percussion school in Shanghai (2018 and 2019), at the Amor De Dios School (Madrid), at the Tókalo Festival (2017), at the Encajonarte Festival, Murcia (2018), at the Ritmos Handmade Percussion Festival, Canary Islands (2018) and at the Festival del Tambor in Havana (2019), at the Concordia College, USA (2025).

Others
 PATÁX is nowadays the most prominent fusion band in Spain, and a project known all over the world, with more than 100.000 followers on Facebook and 25 million views on Youtube, they have also gained a powerful international presence, having toured in China, Costa Rica, Peru, Panama, Hong Kong, Germany, France, Morocco, Mexico, Cuba, Finland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Portugal, and Colombia.
