LONDON / MADRID / PARIS — 4x Grammy-nominated djembist Weedie Braimah & The Hands of Time have announced European dates for the highly anticipated Weedie Braimah World Tour 2026. The celebrated Blue Note NYC resident artist will perform at London's legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club on March 5th, followed by Madrid's Babylon on March 6th, before concluding the European leg at La Petite Halle Paris on March 7th—marking key stops in this global tour spanning multiple continents.

Known for his electrifying live performances that transport audiences on a rhythmic journey through Africa and the diaspora, Braimah brings his unique 8-piece ensemble fusing traditional West African percussion with contemporary jazz, funk, hip-hop, and world music. ABOUT WEEDIE BRAIMAH

Weedie Braimah is a premier djembist, composer, producer, and folklorist emerging from a distinguished lineage of drummers. His mother, Ann Morris, is a respected jazz drummer, and his father, Oscar Sulley Braimah, is a renowned composer and drum master. For over three decades, Braimah has dedicated himself to performing, teaching, and preserving African culture while maintaining a prestigious residency at Blue Note NYC.

His 2021 debut album "The Hands of Time" was featured in TIME Magazine as one of the top 10 albums of 2021 and has earned an impressive 4 Grammy nominations across multiple years and categories.
