 Julito Padrón, born in Matanzas in 1971, began studying trumpet at the age of 9. He graduated from the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana.

 He has collaborated with Septeto Nacional Ignacio Piñeiro, the orchestra of Adalberto Álvarez, Chucho Valdés, Irakere, Cucurucho Valdés, Mista Savona and Interactivo among many others.

Julito Padrón is one of Cuba's outstanding trumpet players. He has taken the Latin Jazz trumpet to another stage of Jazz music. Influenced by great artists such as Clifford Brown, Charlie Parker, Ella FitzGerald. Julito is able to unite and superimpose Bebop, fusion with Funky and Latin Jazz in one piece. His paraphrasing is unique and his quality of composition and arrangements have reached groups such as Incognito.
