Chapi Pineda guitarra

Chapi Pineda born in Cordoba, began his training as a self-taught guitarist with great virtuosity and later trained at the Conservatory of Music in Cordoba.

Jazz-rock was the style in which he began his professional incursion in concert venues until 1981, when he approached the flamenco guitar under the guidance of the great Vicente Amigo. It was then that he specialised in flamenco, taking specific courses with outstanding guitarists such as José Antonio Rodríguez, Enrique de Melchor, Sabas de Hoces and Manolo Sanlúcar.

The 80s are for Chapi a continuous tour in which he shares stages with artists such as Vicente Amigo, the Cuban trumpet player Chico de Jesús, Abdu Salim, saxophonist, the pianists Olaf Meyer and Chano Domínguez, Miguel Vargas, double bass player, Juan Oliva, drummer...

Other outstanding artistic names such as Salvador Niebla, Tito Alcedo and Blas Sánchez (guitar professor at the Paris Conservatoire and honorary member of UNESCO), contributed notably to his work and Chapi Pineda began to create his own music, for which his contact with the pianist Ángel Andrés was of great importance. He creates his own band with which he tours and performs on TV, festivals... and records his first album in 1996 in Barcelona, also demonstrating his group's great capacity for production.

From 1997 onwards came international tours, performances at important international events, educational projects...

Egypt, Syria, Switzerland, Lebanon, Morocco, Arab Emirates, Brazil, Italy, France are some of the many countries where Chapi's talent has been enjoyed.
